You can file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. I just did. Hopefully if enough ppl do with this number, law enforcement agents may investigate it.
Not answering is NOT an answer. Paying for a service only to be exploited is a crime. Create a solution (phone companies, gov, ect.) If we have a do not call list in place, then we should not be called.

Extreme Case: What if a family member was out of the area an emergency occured? I pay for phone service so they can call me, not so the can leave me a voicemail, send an email, or send a text.
Before caller ID, we would have never answered the phone. Why does the phone ever RING if we won't pick it up? Shouldn't it just go right to voice mail which I also pay for? And if it did, wouldn't the scammers and spammers figure out a way to just leave a voice mail, text, or email? Oh wait, they already have.
Look at the politics of the whole thing. Take the US Post Office for example. For years we have gotten junk mail. We pay taxes, we have the right to vote, yet we cannot stop junk mail from continuing. Why? Because junk mail still pays postage and creates revenue for USPS. So why would a government run organization want to stop a viable part of its business? They wouldn't, and they don't. Even if it means that the tax payers must take their time to sort through it. Even if it means the tax payers must dispose of the waste; pay for disposal, transport it with un-environmently friendly trucks, and pack it into landfills....
Ok, so the phone companies are not government run. However the principles are the same; just in the hands of Big Business. And Big Business says, where doing as the Government does. Leadership by example. Phone calls are not free. Texting is not free. Voice and emails are not free. We pay the bill.
A pet peeve. Spam faxes. Pay for the service, pay for the machine, pay for the ink, pay for the toner, and THEN someone uses YOUR resources for THEIR free advertising. Fair? Nope. Pay for a billboard or a magazine ad.
Band-Aiding the problem does not FIX the problem! GO OUT AND VOTE for what really matters. The safety of your family and the value of the money you pay for services, features, and even luxuries.
Like Ed Smith, they are calling my personal cell phone - this call goes against my minutes! This cell phone number is on the National Do-Not-Call list as well. Complaint will be filed with the FTC & BBB.
