This is a scam! You cannot be arrested for bad debt, no agents,officers,etc will be coming to find you at home or at work.
They seem to have the US confused with India where you can be picked up for fraud(see Slumdog Millionaire). Also, if you search this number on the better business bureau website you'll find that the address they provide is for the Anaheim CA City Hall.
I just got a call from this number. He said his name is Jason Hatch.This is the third time this year I have gotten calls from this same guy. First time was from Florida and several weeks ago I got another call coming from Huston Tx. and the messages are always the same. Last time I told him off and he backed but now it is starting again. I am getting really tired of it. What can I do to stop it?
YES I TO WAS CONTACTED AT WORK BY THIS JASON HATCH HE SAID HE WAS AN OFFICER OF THE COURT I NEEDED A LAWYER,AND THAT THEY WOULD COME AND DRAG ME FROM MY WORK PLACE ,HE HAD MY S.S.N WRONG AND I TOLD HIM HE HAD MY WORK PLACE WRONG AND I TOLD HIM HE WAS A REAL WISE GUY AND SAID HE HAD ENOUGH TO COME AND TAKE ME AWAY TO JAIL.I TOLD HIM DO IT.FIRST PLACE YOU CANT UNDERSTAND THE JERK HE SHOULD LEARN HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH
I have been getting the same calls as well this week. I told him that I know he is running a scam and he is not getting a dime from me so stop calling. I have reported him three years ago to my local police department who can not do anything about it but place a report. My husband is angry with me over it. I don't know what else to do. Last year I got the calls from Flordia as well. I do not owe any money to anyone so I really am tired of this. Is there any way to get it to stop?
