John, we are also on the do not call list, I told them that and during that phone call he had the nerve to say "Listen Lady" I said no you listen, Its my phone, my computer and my business stop calling I know you are not with microsoft and this is a scam. He started to argue with me more but I hung up. I too have gotten calls at all hours usually they number is "out of area" or "Private" this is the first time in several months of getting these calls that I have a number. If you figure out how to get rid of them let me know. By the way, not only are we on the do not call list we also pay to have an unlisted phone number. Good Luck
Answered the phone and some foreign guy said he was from Microsoft. Told him to take my name off his calling list and he refused. Said no mam. I will not do that. Hung up on him and he immediately called back. Told him AGAIN to remove my number from his calling list. He continued to argue with me. Said he would NOT take my number off. After repeatedly telling him to remove my name, in harsh language, he continued to say he would not do that. I hung up again. Freaking a$$holes!
I just received 2calls back to back from an unknown number. The caller sounded very distant and there was an obvious lag on my response to his. He asked me if I had a computer and that my Microsoft account was in his data base and that it showed it had been hacked and that he was going to help me fix all of the issues. I played along with him knowing my computer has not been working for over two yrs but I was intrigued by how he got my number. I continued probing with questions and asked for a phone number and name of his company. He became negative and annoyed by me. He asked me if I was going to call the police and then told me they couldn't catch him. I asked what he would be caught doing and he said "you know what you [***], [***] you" and hung up on me!!! This is garbage that Americans have to deal with 3rd world counties and their ignorant attempts at hacking into our lives. I'm so disgusted by this.
