I am so glad I looked this site up. I have no intention of calling "Elizabeth Childs"back. My number is a new number for me. So I am blocking it and hoping that helps!!!So many complaints and all basically the same!!!Can't anything be done???? Especially to that "ballsy" woman, Elizabeth!!!
I have been getting calls for over 3 years of false company names always loud and rude and threatening, I just ignore them now. They think they are clever. It has become very comical to me at this point.
Got call from detective Daniels of fraud unit/ division. From number 218-789-5543 stating that I needed to call him immediately a warrant has been issued for my arrest. For maliouciosly defrauding a financial institution. He called my sister inlaw and told her that I used her name on financial docents which of course I didn't. He also called my father in law and threatened to have him arrested. This is all a scam I called sheriffs department to find out what's going on none of it is real. Do not give any money or any information to these people call your local sheriff and police. Real creditors will not threaten And can't have u arrested. The real creditors will work with you. Huge SCAM beware of detective Joseph Daniels at 218 -789-5543.
Sad to say I panic and sent a payment after I hung up the phone all upset I called my banking institution and they advised me that it was a scam and immediately cancelled my debit card information .I received call today from detective Daniels threatening to come to my place of employment to arrest me PLEASE BEWARE OF THE SCAM
Got a call from Cassie from PDL and was told to call back. I called back and they were so worried my account was red flagged transferred me to a Det. Daniels. He told me that I had a balance that needed to be paid or I was going to have a warrant out for my arrest. He said I owed them 5500 but if I would pay them today he would knock it down to 700. He said he did a full investigation and money was put in my account Sept. 2011. I told him I need to call my bank to verify what was going on bc I didn't have any money put in there. He told me he could not let me go to call my bank otherwise the deal was off the table. I hung up and called my bank they stated nothing had been put in my account from them the whole year of 2011 and said it was all a scam. I called the number back and told him what I had found out and he said he didn't want to argue with me and hung up!!!! These people need to be caught my county court house was notified of the problem but said there really isn't much they can do bc everytime they get close or think they do it doesn't go anywhere.
