So what you're saying is that if I tell them I have bad credit or I live in Canada then my ten calls a week will go down? I wonder what's wrong with living in Canada? Dang, maybe I should sell out and move? And get rid of my landline!
He may have anyone he wants to speak to call his cell phone, not his land line.
Of course, if you're just going to turn your answering machine off anyway, why keep it?
As Tygerkat guessed, most I care to talk to call my cell. As most landline headsets are, mine has an AM included, so throwing it away would be the end of it. What I did may not work for everyone, especially those with the risk of missing an emergency or important call. What calls I have questions about I look up, but my answering machine stays off unless one of the cats steps on it. I'm also gone often when I have been hit with junk calls, but they have no chance at getting any answer. I guess the best way for what I did to work depends on whether you can afford to miss calls.
