So what you're saying is that if I tell them I have bad credit or I live in Canada then my ten calls a week will go down? I wonder what's wrong with living in Canada? Dang, maybe I should sell out and move? And get rid of my landline!
Oh it isn't eh? In that case, I'd like to know what I did to cut the number of junk calls I was receiving down to maybe a few a week then. I don't have any call blockers, none of my threats, or anything worked, either. But I do have an answering machine that's turned OFF. If the callers are getting an automatic answer everytime they call, no wonder you're flooded with junk. So much as even that can be resold to other pests and they can join in on making your phone ring as well. It takes time to do it, not happening overnight.
Same here Sue....my cell has been plastered with these junk calls ...never answer. But what happens is a group of say three spam numbers does drop but then another group of spam numbers starts calling...I think it's a ring and the FCC and FTC are useless.
Claimed to be Solar America with government programs to help fund going solar. Kept talking over me when I told them to lose my number so I just hung up. Figured it was a crap call and sure enough it was.
Justin, if you turn your answering machine to "off" how,do people who you might eventually want to talk to get through to you??? Do you just have it turned off when you're sitting by the phone?
