So what you're saying is that if I tell them I have bad credit or I live in Canada then my ten calls a week will go down? I wonder what's wrong with living in Canada? Dang, maybe I should sell out and move? And get rid of my landline!
I've gotten so tired of calls after calls from the same numbers out of curiosity who these blood sucking parasites are I answer. They'll tell me their first name and sternly I demand, "What do you want?". Most times I just put the phone down and wait for them to get frustrated realizing they're talking to dead air. Other times if they're particularly overbearing or have an accent that annoys me I go for the jugular and unload all my pent up hostilities saying the most hateful things I can come up with. That has backfired a couple times usually with men of a Middle Eastern decent who then proceeded to call me back and curse me out. Any they wonder why we don't like them. I get really infuriated when they call and have a very grating, obvious accent (Middle Eastern) and tell me their name is "Shawn" or "Roger" or "Brian". I immediately confront them on their lie telling them if they can't at least be honest with their name then our entire relationship is based on fraud. I had one idiot ask me, "OK, then what is my name?" How the hell am I supposed to know, Habib, but I know it's not Shawn. I look at these vermin as sport, I spare them no feelings and I could care less what they think or what happens to them. They're predatory, intrusive scumbags. What I would like to know, is WHO are the imbeciles that do business with these creeps keeping them in business? One call that pops up occasionally is seeing my own number on the caller ID. I always answer that call quite curious to see what I want or what I have to say.
That is not true. Not answering the phone does not lessen how many times they call or how many numbers call you. Most days I receive a minimum of 5 calls pet day and sometimes more than 10.
