got a call from "jenny"--same MO as many here have said...jenny said she was returning my call about my computer, and yes, (duh), she had a east indian accent. I told her i hadn't called anybody, then I invited her over and said i wanted to shove my (not broken) computer where it would be permanently protected from harmful direct sunlight....she didn't understand what i was saying...dangit.
Listened to the message.Nobody actually left one but I could hear in the background for about 30 seconds a whole bunch of people talking to others on the phone. None of then actually spoke clear English. All had accents and I could hear them telling others "the reason for my call is" and I couldn't hear the rest. Very obviously not a legit group of people.
Scammers claiming to be part of Windows Support. Caller ID says "Judee K. Hanson", but they hung up and dialed again. This time the caller ID said, "Not available". They still claimed to be a part of Microsoft's team to clear issues with Windows 10 malware. SCAM! Do not give them access to your PC.
These people call all the time. They say they are from Microsoft but when I tell them I don't need support they get furious! Beware they are the bad guys!!
