My Husband just received a call on cell from this number. He didn't answer & right away we looked the number up. This has to be some kind of scam, since we all have been contacted in this manner. Don't call back this number!!!!!!!!
I received a call from 712-429-0375 on my cell phone number at approximately 1:00 p.m., pacific standard time on March 24, 2007. Since I have a friend who was in the Marine Corps with me back in 1965, I returned the call thinking it might be him. I was told by an automatic phone recording that I was on the list for DNZ.
I then realized that something seemed off, so I called AT&T. I'm encouraging everyone to call The Annoying Call Bureau at 1-800-348-8727 and report this scam.
In my message above, I stated DNZ incorrectly. It should be should be DNC. Again, this is scam and I would encourage people to call The Annoying Call Bureau at 800-348-8727. If action needs to be taken against these scam artists, please include me.
