I received two calls while I was away on a business trip from this number. The caller identified himself only as "John", gave no company affiliation, and asked that I call back and reference #41305. The same message was left twice a few days apart. It all smells fishy to me. I didn't call back.
Diaz and Associates will also call from the number 714-263-7170 and also under the name "Mark Normington". As above, misrepresents his intentions, claims "civil complaint" and uses legal verbiage.
Diaz and Associates
What jerks...threatening but no information
No manners, represent NO ONE
They probably buy collections in bulk from another company
Tell them to send whatever in writing and to NEVER call your house
or business again use Fed. Fair Credit Practices statute
If they say they need it in writing, ask for address, phone, name of supervisor, which they will never give, they are TOTALLY bluffing
jerks
Called today and talked to my director. Gave my social security number to my boss and claimed that he had a complaint that I was involved in and needed a way to deliver papers to me without bothering my job, and wanted my phone number. My boss asked him to give her the information and I would call him. Thank goodness she refused to give him any information about me. My husband called him back and he stated that he couldn't talk to my husband until I gave permission. I have tried to call him back 4 times and he has not returned my call. Glad I found this site.
THIS CHARACTER LIZZAAAGA CALLED HERE TOO USING THE SAME PHONE NUMBERS HE USES WITH EVERYONE. He is not a process server because here the sheriff dept directly serves without calling .
Mark Normington keeps on calling my work. He says that I need to be served by the sheriff for a civil complaint. He says that he is a lawyer. I then find out that he works for a collection agency. He says the complaint is a credit card debt that the balance is 10000.00
He said I need to set up a payment plan to pay off the debt. I check on this with a credit report the report shows the the balance is not for 10000.00 but much less. I guess he wants to pocket a huge profit from a old debt.
