Everyone listen up this is an investigation firm, they're job is trying to located people. They are working for insurance companies, disabilities etc.. and employers. They called and said the were JVC Construction and were going to be in my neighborhood doing estimates. The gentleman knew my name and my husbands. Very Odd.
I got a call and I said the person he was asking for (after he mispronounced my name) was not in and asked if I could take a message. He said, "Yeah, tell her John called." And I said, "Jon from where?" And he hung up. UGH!
Calls several times a day. I called back and it is a recording, guy sounds drunk and says he is very busy, leave information and he will return the call. The message is soo garbled it is hard to understand. What a jerk!!!
When i answered the call, the other party was just hanging up...or so i thought. So i called it back. I got an inaudible name saying to leave a message and that he/she? would give me a call back. THEN IT said "By the way, this call is costing you $19.95!
The trick was that it was my area code they were supposedly calling from!
I've reported this to the police... It must be some kids making pranks because the when I called the number back it says it's "Kimberly escort service and I would be charged for two things... Anyway, the police have taken a report and will be taking action shortly.
