Everyone listen up this is an investigation firm, they're job is trying to located people. They are working for insurance companies, disabilities etc.. and employers. They called and said the were JVC Construction and were going to be in my neighborhood doing estimates. The gentleman knew my name and my husbands. Very Odd.
When I said "hello" they didn't say anything. A lot of people talking in the background. Saw this was a "Spoof" number so who really knows where they are.
A guy name Brad called, said he was with a construction/home improvement company triusa.biz. We set up an appointment for a free estimate and after they called to confirm on various dates that were incorrect and offering to come on Sunday night and even missing the first appointment, I told them I wasn't interested and they hung up on me. They call several times a day now.
12 Noon, called about some home improvement company. Said I wasn't interested. If this is indeed triusa.biz as somebody else says, that's the infamous Triangle Construction in Culver City.
If it IS Triangle Construction (I have no proof -- just somebody's say-so), their principal a-hole is named:
Benyamin Hassidim
Triangle Construction
11122 Washington Blvd.
Culver City, CA 90232
They just won't quit, not even if you tell them, not even if you have them come out to the house and tell them what you think of them. But the way to deal with them is to play along and say sure, come on out, give me an estimate for (invent some work to be done). Then don't be home, or don't open the door, or open the door and insult them. That way, you waste their time too. If everybody did this, they'd soon get tired of making the cold calls that waste their time and money too. (I didn't realize it was Triangle Construction, since the guy gave some other name -- "The Home Improvement Company" or some such).
Anybody who is really ambitious can go ahead and determine that this is who is really behind it, file a formal complaint with the FCC, send them a bill for telemarketing violations (they will, of course, ignore it) and then sue in small claims. I have done this with other companies, successfully, but usually I have better things to do with my time.
With all the violations they rack up at $500 a pop, at some point it becomes worth my time again.
