I received a call from Verango today with a man perporting to be with Southern California Edison. He continued to tell me the people on my street were unhappy with their edison bill and we could get solar for free. I knew this was a scam and he really pissed me off because he was so angry. I guess he got the hint when he put the nice cop of the good cop bad cop routine on the phone. I made an appointment with them and as soon as I saw these reviews I called and cancelled.
Thank you everyone for posting! I feel sorry for people who do not have the resources to check on the company....
Recieved a call today (Sunday) at 11:30 am, caller ID indicated Verengo. Did not answer and no message left. Called the number back, after blocking mine, and was immediately directed to an answering machine with the message stating you are calling Verengo Solar Plus. At the end of the message it is offered to be removed from their call list, but you need to leave your number, didn't do it, don't think it will help.
All companies that call to solicit and harass can be reported to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at
https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/. It may not help immediately, but will help eventually as more reports are filed on these unwanted callers.
You people need to relax, if a phone call upset your life so much that you took the time write your thoughts on this website (more time than to just answer and say no thank you!) you need to evaluate your priorities in life! They may be offering you something you need. If not, add them to the DNC list!!
