I received a call from Verango today with a man perporting to be with Southern California Edison. He continued to tell me the people on my street were unhappy with their edison bill and we could get solar for free. I knew this was a scam and he really pissed me off because he was so angry. I guess he got the hint when he put the nice cop of the good cop bad cop routine on the phone. I made an appointment with them and as soon as I saw these reviews I called and cancelled.
Thank you everyone for posting! I feel sorry for people who do not have the resources to check on the company....
I've been receiving several calls a day from the number 714--453-2079, the caller ID just says "Call Center, CA". I finally picked up today and when I told the caller I was on the other line he said he'd call back later. Then I politely asked if they could remove my number from their call list. The guy rudely replied to me with, "You don't even know what I'm calling about, and you're like 15". Now I'm 41, and when I asked him if he just said "you're like 15", he stuttered a touch, said I sounded young, but still refused to remove my number from the call list. Then I told him not to worry about it and I'd take care of it online, he said "whatever" and hung up on me. When I called the number back I got a recording saying it was "Durango Solar", but there was no option to speak to a human to complain about the call.

RECEIVED YET ANOTHER CALL FROM THESE [***] ON MY BUSINESS LINE.
WHO CALLS A BUSINESS AT 6:30PM???
THIS IS, AT LEAST THE 5th PHONE CALL FROM THESE IDIOTS.
I get calls from this number twice a week. This has been going on for several months. They never leave a message and when you call back they don't answer. We are on the good for nothing "Don Not Call List" but it makes no difference.
Hi, just found this site, if any/all could please call back the phone # 714-453-2079, and just leave your entire phone number including area code on the voice mail, and message 'Do Not Call' we are very prompt on removing any/all phone numbers. Honestly, some people call in, and say 'take us off your list'... but don't leave their phone number. :( So we are unable to remove them. Thanks, Verengo Solar Plus
