I got a call saying I have criminal charges and I need to call the State office at 714-482-3318. I work in an attorney's office and now this is false. Who do I report this too?
This is the second time in the last 6 months I recd a call from these people "John" saying I need to call back re: charges against me and if I don't "good luck" The last time I actually spoke to this "John" and asked him to send me proof of the accusations and guess what??? Never recd anything from them and no return calls to my messages...SCAM for sure
I just received a call from this fictious person saying his name was mike watson...saying that there were criminal charges on me. They called my cell first then my job. My boss was scared and I was, too, so I Googled the number and found this website.
