Woman called saying she was calling from IRS and that I was being indited by IRS, She gave a number for me to call. Of course I did not call it. This was a recording and caller ID said it was coming from a pay phone.
i got this call saying that the IRS - Internal Revenue Services is filing a law suit against me. Then they give me another # in D.C. To call to get more info of this case... However, when I called the # in DC several times it's always has the beeping noise for 1mins and disconnected.
They left a message with what sounds like a computer operated voice saying that it was the IRS and they've been trying to reach me and this is my final notice.
We reside in France. We were called three times by ths phone number. He asserts it would be a malware on my computer and it's neccessary to restore my Windows operating System. Of course i don't give access to my system and no gave no informations about system, or us. It would certainly be a swindler. Keep attention !
In France, near Strasbourg they were some people who were called by US phone numbers for such reason.
Any of them gave informations and their computers were locked by a password and their OS Windows un operationnel. They must go to a specialist to recover their PC usage.
