I got an "arrest" call today. So. . I posted their number on all my social media, and we blew up their phones for hours, hundreds of people calling. They finally stopped answering.
I received a message on my voicemail stating I was going to be arrested by the legal officer in my workplace. I found it laughable because I'm retired. So the legal officer is me or the dogs I'm guessing. At any rate I figured this was part of some type of scam. I called the number with my number blocked but only got the voicemail. I'm calling them back to leave a message this time and let them know don't try this crap with me or I will have a police officer at their door for real. The number that called me was 7145095835.
I have received several of these calls and each time it is a different name.Today ,the name was John March, senior attorney with the John Hill Law Firm. He simply said I wold be arrestedby thelegal officer at my work and if I wanted more information, I should call him at 714-509-5835. I have ben threatened many times by these scammers and haveyetto be arrested or even have anyone come to my work trying to arrest me. My attorney tells me that no law firm will call to try and collect a debt, nor will they threaten to arrest you. I can ignore the calls at home, but hate when they call my work and am not sure what to do about that!
