It is a scam. I got the same thing. Unless they send you something in the mail and it is a legal document that can be verified, it's a scam!

This just happened to me today! Some woman was saying that I owed some payday loan company online $1200.00 and the company that owns it is called American Lending Group. They had an address that I did not reside at and an email address that I did not have. However she said that the courts were going to have me pay this money back 4 times the supposed amount that I owed! This sopposedly happened back in 2012!?!? I am going to turn them in to the FBI!

Got a message there was a complaint against me, called back before I checked this out. What did I open myself up to and how can I head them off now?
