ok so im still in school, so im flat out appalled at the fact that im gettin such a weird and random letter, im not even 18 yet, so i dont understand why i would be a target, also this is an update!! My letter says they call theyreslves "The Secret Society" and basically how they spent alot of 'time, money, and effort' and 'held meetings' to finding me.
CONGRATULATIONS! You found me! =) its kinda creepy, the letter, althogh i must admit a was a bit flattered at first. it said how they found me through my profile (what prfile?!?!) and how my 'traits' were 'truly impressive' yeah right!! haha and they were pretty determined by theyre words to get me to recieve the 'FREE' 'Forbidden Knowledge' in the form of a '112 page Forbidden System titled: MAKE ALL PEOPLE RICH<INCLUDING THE POOR'
And the fact that the signature read <KATIE> yet the name printed under read KATE. Dont know who these people are but they sure know us...
i got one of those stupid letters yesterday. I am so sick of scams this letter was so damn long and i was even dumber to read the whole thing. We should form some type of club or group that fights against these scammers. How did they get my freakin address anyhow??
I got a letter from these people today.
One thing I will share with all of you, is other then your name and address they know absolutely nothing about you. How did they find your name number and address? Easy, they looked in a phone book.
You can also tell that the letter is BS due to the lack of hard information. Their "association" is not even named. They use vague words and terms in everything they describe.
For example "We have taken a closer look at your profile" Profile from what?
"You possess rare traits" but dose not describe what these traits are.
The deadline they give you is a tactic called fear. They are creating an illusion that your life will suck if you don't meet the deadline in order to force you to do want they want.
Their goal - This is easy, but they want money. However they mainly target people that are the most greedy. Yeah, I know I just made them look like the good guys. The letter states over and over about "money, power, do anything you want" The moral of this story is, don't give into greed by doing what this letter says.
