No call, just a ridiculously long letter, as described by hundreds of other "truly special" people.  Not going to send anything back because it's obviously some type of scam, or at least a shady mass-marketing tool to fish out live addresses they can exploit later.  I have to say, their approach is pretty thin. Who would actually believe that load of crap? I suppose the same folks who have been abducted by aliens. Anyway, I'm sure this post won't really do any good, but it's fun to rant for a minute. If you're somehow still on the fence after reading all these posts, let me give you my advice. Don't send anything back! You don't want them knowing you actually live there so they can harass you in the future. Finally, just be prudent.  Don't sign up for stuff you're not sure about - it's too good to be true anyway...

I didn't get a call, but the same "type" of letter (long letter) signed by John, and what I think is that if you send it back, it "verifies" that you are a valid address and prone to mass junk mail or something, but I am curious if anybody out there has received and "new powers" hahaha, oh, and nobody seems to mention that this is to be "kept secret" OMG... My letter came first class mail too, but without a return address, only the return envelope had an address... creative, but so long winded, and it has a copyright stamp at the bottom... hahaha!!!

.I,also recieved the same letter.I wanted to let Tony (Oct) comment, know something.  You should have known right away the letter wasn't from the Masons', for one thing, the Masons always operate in this formal way: they ( and I mean 2 members have to recognize your good works for people in your church, job, community,or for total strangers. You probably are one of these men I'm speaking of, that's why you got that impression from the letter. The only reason I know this is because my brother, whom is dead now, was approached and sponsored by 2 Mason brothers, and my uncle was also a Mason. They never spoke of the meetings, they wouldn't even let anyone know the good they did to help people, they did it anonymously. When I read the letter, it sounded like the pitch given in the infomercial by Kevin Trudeau.  I'm not saying it came from him, I'm insinuating that these people, borrrowed the words from him, and from Hugh Downs,( when he and the MD) advertise the "medical secrets", that Drs didn't want you to know. The only way, I can think of, for this group of people getting our Names and Addresses is from purchases, buying on-line or over the phone, from surveys, and yes from certain government agencies ie. Public Records. I noticed after I signed up for the "DO NOT CALL LIST",(that's a joke), I got more junk mail on my computer, in the mail, and more phone calls.I'm totally fed up with it. I reported to the BBB the Federal Trade Comm. and every government agency, all the way to the "White House", and it hasn't helped one bit. It's going to take all of us, standing together to put a stop to this. If anyone wants to name a day to e-mail the President about this, I'll be glad to do my part. I'll check this web-site daily for a response, and Tony, keep doing good, keep the faith, like they say"everything Happens for a reason". God isn't sleeping, Cajun girl
