I was contacted by a BrIan McLean regarding a payday loan he claims I defaulted on thru ACE Cash express. I have also spoken with a supervisor there by the name of Ron Kissler 716-504-6908 and a Tom. They have called friends and family members claiming to be from a law firm looking for me regarding a legal matter that they need my statement on. I spoke with them and they have threatened to have me arrested for bank fraud. They would only email proof of the debt. I made a payment arrangement with them out of fear. They claim I owe over $1000 to their client. I made arrangements for a payment of $115 to come out approx. 20 days from the date of the call. They took the payment out 3 days later, wouldn't return my calls and claimed they were out of the office when they did finally call back. They claimed it would take 21 days to get the money refunded and it would be past my anticipated payment date so I should just let them go ahead and keep the payment they already collected. I have since cancelled the debit card used, notified my bank and disputed the charge with my bank. I was also contacted by another company a month prior claiming to represent the same ACE Cash Express. I had made a prior payment arrangement with them before being contacted by this firm. The first company did not send written proof of the debt either. I have checked my credit and none of these show up as collections on my credit report. I have been trying to clean up old collections on my credit to raise my score.
This automated cheap recording kept calling my job asking for me and says if it is me to press 0 to speak to a service rep?
I hit 0 and never get any but Mr. dial-tone. The is the kicker the only reason I was able to find this site is because he left a voice mail telling to call that 716 number back.
Hi this message is for Mr. (___) this is Mr chancellor contact you regarding deposit made secure need further credit union speak at at my office at (716) 504-6908.

Anyone living in DE, NI, and PA. This is the number he calls form (302)751-3053 number.
Haven’t called yet because in the state of DE everything comes of your credit report 3 years after your last Payment/ admittance to a bill or loan.
Oh and then in the voicemail. he says
I guess Brian isn't working there anymore. Mrs. Friedman keeps leaving messages on my phone at work saying they will have to make a decision by Friday. I hope I don't get sent to debtor's prison and my kids don't get sent to the work houses. Oh, wait, that's right, it's not the 19th Century!
Fair warning, they call on other numbers, too. I had "Mrs. Friedman" call again on my cell phone with a 410-412-9397 number and I swear her voice sounds very similar to the flood of 402-875-XXXX number I've been receiving.
DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION THEY ARE SCAMMERS!
Got a Maryland Number that came in on my cell as 240-345-4124
Left a voice mail to asking for an Alicia NO LAST NAME and not my name and to contact there office so if I can help resolve this matter please call me today, Introduced herself as a Ms. freeman also said to call this number back 716-504-6913 which is in NY Hmmmm.... Why would they call on a local Maryland Number to call a NY so called business number , I smell a scam! will also list this under the spoofed Maryland number they called on which came back as a Transmission shop in MAryland
Here's a voicemail that I received on May 31, 2016 at 12:15 PM:
"Hi Mr. Harris this is Mr. Kissler. Contact my office today. (716) 504-6908. Need with talk regarding [unintelligible] as it has your name and social security linked to it. Contact me back. Thank you."
My guess is that this is most likely a scam. It was interesting how, at the beginning of the voicemail, he sounded very professional and spoke slowly, but then when he got to the substantive issue of his call he rushed through it to the point that I couldn't even make out what he was he said. I have no outstanding debts, so this again leads me to conjecture that it is some sort of scam.
My immediate advice is to either (a) block the number; or (b) have it so the number is sent straight to voicemail. Should he, or another person from whatever company for which they are calling from, I would not field the call. Let it go to voicemail, and write down what they said to the best of your ability. If they try to play ugly and contact anybody else besides yourself and divulge any information whatsoever about you (true or not), then I would go to the Federal Trade Commision website (in fact, you can do this anyway as it is most likely a harrassing call as per the FDCPA); more specifically, enter in the following URL from the FTC website: <https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1>, which is a direct link that allows for you to file a complaint directly against the caller and/or company. Here's a quick word of advice -- write down as many details about the call you receive as you can (e.g., time, date, to whom you spoke, voicemail verbatim, etc.) The more details you present to the FTC the quicker they'll act to begin the process of ceasing these calls on your behalf. Remember that the FTC is a branch of our Government, which is here to serve us, the citizens of this great Nation.
