I have gotten a few calls before we disconnected our home phone. I haven't spoken with them but I would get a recorded message. Today, I received a letter from them which led me to researching them and, ultimately, to this website. They are not even licensed in my state and are trying to collect on a debt.
This company called me saying I owed money and demanded that I pay now. The man I spoke to Jamie Johnson ( Mr. Johnson) I politely told him I couldn't pay at this time because I was having financial difficulties. He then proceeded to HARRAS me saying... " I am a loser and that I will amount to nothing in life" and that I am a Toddler who is immature and that is a loser" And he kept yelling at me saying that over and over to me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I calmly told him to stop harrassing me and to stop belittle me. And he wouldn't stop. I then told him I want to speak to his manager and " Mr Johnson" as he so call himself, kept yelling at me and then hanged up on me. I then called again I asked the woman to please direct me to the head person Manager that works there. I then spoke to a man name Jake Colins saying he was the general manager there. I told him what happen, he said all calls are recorded and that he will investigate. In which I was pleased. We proceeded to settle a 50% off of the debt, and he told me to hold on to get more information. While I was waiting... Mr Johnson got on the phone and started yelling at me AGAIN! and then hanged up on me. It was BAZZARR. I then called for the thid time. I asked for Jake Colins the general manager and a man name Mike pick up the phone saying he was also the general manager and that he could assist me, but I told him I was talking to Jake Colins about settling the debt and complained to him saying what happen to me regarding to Mr. Johnson yelling at me and hoping that everything was recorded. Then Mike quickly said NOTHING is recorded. and their would be no prove of it, and that it would be hear say. In which I found to be very strange. Mike then directed my call to Jake Colins. I then was relieve to get him again on the phone. Then Jake Colins said he had Never spoke to me. In which I could not believe he was LYING. Saying that he never discussed about any settlement and about anything being recorded about Mr. Johnson. Jake Colins proceeded to tell me that Mr Johnson wrote in his notes saying I was yelling and screaming. In which the was a huge lie. I then quickly came to a realization that they were covering up for one another. I will be calling my attorney regards to this matter. For I will not will be calling them again for any settlement. Has anyone here went thru the same problems with this company??? Please let me know. Thank you.
