I have received several calls from this number, but the computer messages only says to dial 1. I called the New York number (716 635 9550) and the person responding said they were a law firm. He checked the computer for my phone number, Name and Address and did not find it. I ask him to do what ever it takes to remove my phone number. Will see.
They call me and my family members all the time about a debt of $1,200. I don't have a clue what they're are talking about and they won't send me info in the mail. They just want me to pay them now. They ask for my SS# to verify I'm who I say I am and I told them I don't give that out to anyone. The lady I talked to today said if I don't resolve this in the next 24 hours it's going to litigation. At first the Lady was real nice but then she got nasty and started threatening me if I didn't pay in the next 24 hours they were going to sue me. I don't recall ever having a credit card with whom she said I had one and when I asked her to email me the info or mail it to my home she said it was out of her hands.
It's funny how the American tax payers gave all the big banks billions and billions of dollars and those same tax payers are now being harrassed to pay even more money. If I actually owe money I'll pay it but I'm not giving a stranger my bank routing number and check number with out knowing for sure what the hell they're collecting.
I think this company is as fraudulent as they come and I definately don't trust them and you shouldn't either. Don't pay anything until you have a statement in front of you explaining what you owe.
I just got off the phone with the most incompetent, rude SOB who thought it was funny that I was upset from the several calls - he denied that any calls have ever been made to my house and i told him that i have rcvd and actually posted online because they were harrassing me - he stated "oh you are one of those" he kept laughing at me. with the millions of people out of job, i am certain that they can find professionals to handle calls and wonder why this arrogant [***] is working for them. I will certainly put time aside to report this company - what a jerk!
