So obnoxious. I must've ignorantly put my # down for something and now I'm getting calls from this Fed Loan service. I never answer calls I don't recognize, but it's still really annoying. Lesson learned.
I have a warning for all of you getting calls from FedLoan: it's possible that they bought your student loans and then didn't notify you. That's exactly what they did to me. They bought my loans and didn't tell me until they sent me a letter about my "delinquent account". Meanwhile I had sent two months worth of payments to my original lender, which FedLoan received from them but refuse to credit my account. Good luck to you all.
I keep getting calls from this number too...I am way ahead on my student loan payments so I have no idea why they would keep calling me but I never answer and they never leave a message. Its really annoying and borderlines harassment. Whoever is behind it needs to go do something useful with their time and stop wasting mine.
My loan isn't defaulted, I am months ahead for my payments so why do I keep getting phone calls? This phone number cannot be legit and the fact that a Federal Loan representative is trying to justify these scam phone calls makes me question the integrity of such an establishment.
