I got 1 call this morning at 8:38am, 1 call at 9:09am, then another call at 6:02pm, no messages. I have no idea who it is as they didn't leave a message. No legit company make weird calls like this lol.
I called the number and spoke to a rep and told them that I do not have an account with con ed. They removed my number and told me it will take 3 days for it to take effect. Good luck everyone else.
just got another call again and yes it was con ed. they call relentlessly. but they are not out to get you. i dont know why they dont leave a message - i should have asked. they are looking for partial payment on that monster bill. cause our electric bills are so high we may have a balance and con ed will threaten a shut off, but they dont want to shut you off if you are a good paying customer. i had just made a payment and she took the info and that was it. but if i didnt see the info on this site i wouldnt have answered it. thier arcaic web site is horrible and i cant figure out what is my current bill and what is my bill from the winter heating bill. they probably dont leave a message cause they fear we would never answer it.
