On them now, then I said oh [***] I forgot to hang up they heard me! move now go go go!! and I heard some yelling in the back ground and I hung up lol
Received crazy messages from 718-404-9289 from a man saying he's from the IRS and we're being sued. I keep calling number back but no answer. Obviously this is not from IRS. Oddly I was in NY a couple days before and then I started receiving this call. Some scammer may have gotten my phone number.
Yep, called me again today. I called back the number. Said he was the irs... Right... They do not call and threaten with a lawsuit. He had a very strong accent from india. I told him i reported this call to the dept of treasury and the fbi. He got really pissed, hung up on me. I called back and told him to back off. This has to stop. Where is our govt when it comes this nonsense?? We need help out there folks. Please step in and arrest this criminal. Please... Anyone listening.
Scam. Recorded mssg. tells you to call #, because this id your last chance before legal action filed w/ County Court.
Also getting calls from #509-392-6377 which claim IRS is about to file actions (also scam). -Still, it's stressful when you initially hear the messages. I'm sure most will research these calls online, but there are probably a good many that fall for it too. Infuriates me ;-(
