I received the same call from this individual and or company. Please don't give them any information what so ever. Do not put your trust in this company its someone trying hack and gain important information from your electronics. Again do not trust this company and or individual.
This number is a closed one. I looked it up on Google It belonged to a De. in Brooklyn and some Indian creep is using it to scam u on anything. TV, Computer< etc.
I told them that this must be a great coincidence since I am an attorney and they would be able to help me out with fraudulent claims in a federal investigation, so rather than me providing them with my IP address, they could provide me with theirs. The lovely gentleman then told me he was calling from Pakistan and there was a bomb in my office and it was about to go off. So lovely.
Just got a call from this number. Claimed to be a Microsoft tech responding to an error message my computer sent them. I wanted to mess around with them (knowing that they are a scam) but the lady had such a thick Indian accent, I could only understand a few words she was saying. I could hear lots of loud talking in the background and I think she had her microphone too close to her mouth trying to cover background noise. Maybe next time I'll get a better connection or a clearer speaking individual so I can see what they really want.
