Have received calls from this number on several occasion say that they are with Windows. THIS IS A SCAM. They try to gain remote access of your computer to hack your information. They tell you that they are getting error reports from your computer and need remote access to fix it. DON'T DO IT. Windows is a Microsoft product and; after a chat with Microsoft corporate; understand they Microsoft will NEVER INITIATE contact with you unless you specifically request contact. BLOCK THIS NUMBER! Also they have called back within minutes with a call that has no caller ID. It's the same demons.
Got a call today saying that my computer contacted them that it was receiving a bad download. This really made me mad since my understanding of home computers is they only do what we tell them to. They aren't that smart to call some foreigner and say "hey look, go rip off my owner". He wanted access to my computer - hah, I'm not that dumb and told him to get a life. Really makes me mad that people like him call and that there are people out there who just don't know any better and fall for it (my parents almost fell for it but luckily called me on the other line). I've always been told "If you don't know the caller, don't give them access to anything." I hope somebody catches these creeps.
