SCAM!!! I just called this number as my son took a message for me (718-705-7522). He tried telling me that my taxes were filed incorrectly in 2012 and that the local tax agent tried to deliver legal documents to my house (once a year since 2012) and left a notice at my door of their arrival and to call back (as apparently I was never home). I asked several questions like: why was my 2012 taxes never audited? Why have I received a tax return every year since 2012? Why is this the first time I am hearing of this? He never gave me a straight answer. I told him I believed that this information was false and ended the call.
Just got voicemail saying there is a legal case against me and that I should have my attorney call them back. Thick accent so couldn't tell what they said half the time but I know it wasn't real because I looked the number up first and I haven't done anything to have anything against me or owe anything
Just took a call from this number in a very bad Indian accent,could only understand half of what she said.My number is unlisted!! She said that her name was Etha Jones and she was from the U S Treasury dept legal affairs dept enforcement action.
I had the same thing happen to my wife, but they called her cell phone. I called them back at 718-705-7522.

But no one was there to receive them. So I ask him why didn't they leave a note. Why have I received a tax return every year since 2013? We would not answer me. I told him this was a scam he hung up on me.
yeah they keep calling and calling! they have a thick indian accent, and claiming to be from the United States Treasury Department... I told the woman to stop calling me immediately and they told me to prepare for the legal process
