Same here and said I never od $ owed on my 2014 taxes and I ignored documents sent... I said NO DOCUMENTS SENT! Called the Fed. Gov. And reported this..they said scam!!!!!!!! Called my cell and when I hit " call back" she answered " is tis Denee?" Knew my address.. Email and cell! I hope they get NAILED.. Reported this number to Feds so maybe its traceable
A female with a thick Indian accent left a message that she was calling from US treasury legal affairs. I called back and a man answered and asked if this was theresa and I said yes and he gave an address that was not mine. I asked him who is this from and he said that I am in trouble and to not interrupt him. He told me that IRS has been sending me forms "CP 503" and said that i refused to answer. He also told me IRS emailed me the notices based on an email I provided on my tax return. IRS does not make calls like this nor does IRS email people. this is a SCAM hang up. Go to www.tigta.gov and click the red button to report this number, with the details of the call!!!!!
Received call today from this number saying her name was Leslie Owens from u.s. Treasury dept and legal action would be taken on me to call back immediately. I did call back knowing it was a scam and told lady off she hung up ...I called back 8 times...guess what they wouldn't answer. Losers ! Go get a job instead of trying to scam people!
