Yes its a scam and received call at my place of employment and supervisor cursed them out, DEFINITELY a scam and phone call was recorded after being told. Serious echo on their end and address is not in NYC. Call was being ported through a cell tower in NYC.
Sent complaint again to FBI- Which probably wont be followed up and be careful with these a##holes. they're phishing your credit reports as well.So what so good about this not a damn thing and no one does squat.
I got the same call. I asked for a badge number or identification number but was told, I am a fed and don't have one. I am a former reporter so I have seen lots of warrants. I now work for the fed government myself. I called the police and plan to make a complaint against. I am sure it doesn't matter but if they bother me again, I will have something against them.
This literally just happened to me a few minutes ago. Everything about this just seemed fake. He clearly had an accent, couldn't tell me the exact charges, and why on earth would the "FBI" have a gmail account instead of a company one? I'm young and I am paranoid about identity theft so I told the guy to email the stuff. I got what was supposed to be my arrest warrant which was totally blank. A kid could have created that...They have been calling me nonstop in March but I never picked up so now in June, I guess I have a court case. By the way my person was Frank Jackson as well and his number was 718-977-5955.
This Frank Jackson is a [***].
I got a email on my cell phone today saying that they were issuing an arrest warrant unless I paid $1,735.29 by TONIGHT
Saying it was for a loan granted in March or 2015 I did not get a loan in 2015.
This is the phone # he called from (917) 677-5245
IT IS A TOTAL SCAM I am taking a copy of this supposed arrest warrant to our Local Sheriffs Department and to my Attorney.
