Sorry but laws have changed since you were a TM. There are do-not-call lists now which you cant call. There is also the TCPA which prevents calls to cellphone without a prior business relationship. Offering a free service does not excuse you from these laws. You are still soliciting under the law. I dont tell little white lies to get these people to go away. I challenge them right upfront and I SUE the SH*t outta anyone who dares to fight with me. These calls WILL stop and everyone who is involved with them will lose their [***] or their job or both! you might find that this place is very advanced in getting information from computer related devices.  They do work for the FBI, DEA, and many other agencies TO GATHER INFORMATION. I would be careful with this company due to their capablities.  If technology isnt your bag and its not really mine youll have to understand that they specialize in obtaining this info for a purpose. Whats on your HARD DRIVE? what web sites have you gone to, what emails have you sent and recieved? this is all you need to understand and that people use this company to gain information about people, organizations, ect,
Remember the phone trace in the 80's where they had to keep you on the line for 2 minutes to get your location...? i dont know how much fact that held but its instantaneous.  I just wonder if one could make a call to a phone thats miles away and tap into your computer via phone line or cable.  after all we are useing CABLE now for our INTERNET, PHONE & TV needs right? well thats just what i think and im not saying my opion is right but to be on the safe side i would get your routers incripted. if not for this kind of company (Dearborn) than for your own personal privacy and knowing that your personal life stays private.

PS: about the young people out there trying to make some bucks ie: $11:00 an hour telemarketer... which its up to $14-18 these days. i dont think we are dealing with that here but I just had to say "anyone who took a job calling peoples homes to earn a living needs to try harder to find a better sourse of temp. income.

Saw strange number on caller ID at work. I don't normally get outside calls to my number. So I figured it was a collections agency and let it go to voicemail. No message.
