They never leave a message and when I do answer the phone after 1 or 2 rings, there's nobody on the other end. They call early in the morning to lateer at night.

The question people should be asking is how did they get my phone number, Usually its a bank that collects and sells lists of mailing address/phone numbers. One way to stop annoying calls is unlisted phone number and not giving it out.
I am sick and tired of getting phone calls from 720-214-0440. This happens several times a day and it needs to stop. When calling back they answer and don't say anything.
These people have called 5 times and hung up. They have no way to call back as the number displayed on caller ID is not a working number. I will contact Federal Authorities This is definitely illegal activity.
