These people have been calling me for about a month or so, I would return the call and no one would answer so I would leave a message telling them that I know this is a scam and to lose my number. So today I get another call from them and called the number back immediately, this woman answered and said this was a Legal mediation firm, I told her I owed no money and was not involved in any legal cases and that I knew this was a scam and was going to turn them in to the Better Business Bureau, she said, is this Sonja Babbitt and I said yes, she told me to do whatever I felt I needed to do, she was going to save us both the time and just attach my statement to my file and wished me luck in court!!!! I in turn wished her luck in court as well!!!!
I just got the same call. They never identified a company name. They never mentioned my name. I do not have anything that would be in "legal litigation" so I will not call them back. The number originates from Denver, CO.
From January to March, I received calls from several different numbers out of Miami, Florida...from Steven James, Randall Johnson, and Michael James. After listening to the exact same message I received from Mark Jefferson (of Denver, Colorado), I realized that Mark Jefferson is also Steven James, Randall Johnson, and Michael James. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!
Recieved 2 calls from Mark Jefferson regarding Legal Mediation....My name was not mentioned nor was the company name mention. The calls were received an hour a part. I know of no one in CO that my name and SS# can be linked to so this is definitely a scam.
