Associated Community Services (ACS) is a telemarketing firm based in Southfield, Michigan which reportedly filed for bankruptcy & owes more than $15 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS and more than $1 million in unpaid state tax. ACS is owned & operated by Robert W. Burland, Jr. and Richard T. Cole.
ACS has been cited by the Michigan Atty General as being in violation of numerous laws and ACS retains up to 90% of funds received for telemarketing services on behalf numerous charities, including the Foundation for American Veterans. ACS badgers it’s victims repeatedly at all hours with high pressure tactics.
The owners are con artists and should be held account for their activities. I urge you to contact the owners and give them a dose of their own medicine. I’m sure they will be happy to hear from you at any time of the day.:-)
It'd do you no good in the long run and nothing to change your present situation. Leaving you blank messages? Outside of finding out your number is in operation and possibly your name depending on your outgoing message, most junk callers gain nothing leaving messages. To get anywhere in terms of what telepests are really after, they need a live voice. Although you may not answer unknown callers, they won't know that so continue calling. Make sure unwanted callers get nothing from your number if you're able.
I get calls from this number daily.....sometimes three times. Says its FAY. Don't know a Fay, at times it is 8 am. Like today. Other times it's 8 pm or times between. I put a message on my machine that says we don't accept unwanted calls, but they call anyway and even tho I tell them to leave a message they do not. But they keep calling back. Grrrrrrrr
Got calls from this number a couple of times and we blocked the creeps. Then got a call from 720-372-1600 on 5-31-16 at 8:10 p.m!!! CID showed FAV and no message was left. We previously received calls with CID FAV from 720-403-9498. We blocked that number so now apparently these low lifes are calling from this number. Blocked it too - the jerks.
