Caller claims money is owed. Calls all my phone numbers constantly. Threatens warrants, etc. Hangs up as soon as I start questions they don't like. I don't owe these people and it is a scam.

Just received a call from this number stated that a summons will be sent to my employ. Told them they will receive a call from my attorney. Guess they'll be calling back, only from a different number.

i got a call from this number saying I owed a payday loan. The part that disturbs me is that they had all my information. I gave them no information. They had my social security number, my address and my email. How do I report these people????????

Know Your Rights
First off, this is a scam and you can safely ignore the threatening message that is left on your machine.  While it can be embarrassing if the message is left at work or your spouse and/or children hear it, you can assure those around you that the attempts to serve you are merely a rouse and this is all just attempted extortion.

Have you applied for a loan online in the last 5-10 years?  Not through Lending Tree or some other big name, licensed and legitimate company that is fully ensured and abides by the law.  I'm talking about unlicensed lenders that may specialize in financing for those with severe credit issues, bankruptcy, etc.  This may include payday loans.  Don't be offended if you were contacted - the loan or financing you sought out originally may not have explicitly called itself a payday loan, or if you were looking for a car loan you may have inadvertently been added to a payday loan database.  Other types of loans that could start phone calls like these:

Title Loans
Signature Loans
Installment Loans

Before you provide anyone personally identifiable information over the phone, verify who the caller is and what they are calling you about.  It doesn't matter if the call is being recorded, because you are just asking them to provide you with information necessary to validate who you are speaking with.  After all, you are going to be asked to verify yourself.  If you have access to a computer, try to Google the company.  If a website doesn't show up in the search results, or you get a lot of 800notes.com listings, chances are this is not a legitimate company trying to collect on a debt you actually owe.

The sad truth is they already have your information, albeit with holes here and there that they need you to fill.  They will ask you, as an example, if you are John Smith and the first five of your social are 123-45, residing at 123 Main Street.  You'll be shocked, somewhat scared even, that someone would have this information.  They may even ask if you still bank at Local Community Credit Union.  Well, do you?

A licensed collector operating within the law is going to send you a Dunning Notice.  A dunning letter is a notification sent to a customer, stating that the customer is overdue in paying an account receivable to the sender.  It will indicate their company name, the original creditor name, your account number, and the amount you owe.  You will be provided with remittance information to mail in payments or a number to call and setup arrangements or make payments over the phone.  If you don't feel the debt is actually yours, you can then respond to this letter with a debt validation request.  The company will have 30 days to provide the information to show you owe the debt and that they have been contracted by the original creditor to collect.

But the call you received is simply bypassing this collections process with what amounts to a threat of legal action.  What company is going to do this, knowing there are laws in effect that explicitly prohibit this and similar practices.  Take the scam for what it is and do not pay any further attention to it.  You are welcome to notate when the calls occur and whether a message was left.  You can even file complaints with your state's attorney general.  Chances are there is very little they can or will be able to do.  But, if enough complaints are received it could be given priority.  Doubtful, as these extortionists tend to move on to other prey when folks start to wise up on the scam.

There is no legal case file against you.  No company in their right mind will operate this way and stating you are officially notified at the end of a phone call has non legal standing.  You are not in any kind of trouble and your information won't be used to apply for loans and credit.  Just ignore the calls, change your number where possible and move on.

Stay informed.  Be vigilant.  Know your rights.

do not answer unknown numbers
I just recieved a call. It's weird. I recently downloaded the outlook app on my Iphone and logged into my hotmail account. For some reason you can not log out so I had to delete the App due to a text message that was sent to my phone from an e-mail that would usually come in my junk mail on hotmail.com. PLEASE BE CAREFUL do not do not download an e-mail app on your iphone unless its for work. I am hot. I know this call was a scam thanks to 800notes.

I rebuke every bill collector trying to call my phone in Jesus Name AMEN!
