A male called from this number, stated he was with the FOP and and said he would be brief, and then hung up...WTF? I was just about to tell him that I work for the sheriffs office (which I do) and inform him that our local FOP does not solicit for money and that I was going to pass along his phone number that he was calling from to our investigations dept, but the [***] hung up, so now I wonder if they are making calls just to test the validity of phone numbers so they can sell them
I put my answering dervice on my phone, Whe they here the recorder they hang up and I get blasted with a loud dial tone. I do not want to be contacted by this party. I am on the no call list. I will tuirn them in if they keep calling.
They called my house as I was trying to lay down for a nap before a graveyard shift, i picked up the phone and said hello, there was some rustling in the background and no answer. i said hello again and they hung up.
