The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

another scammer.  recorded message saying from U.S treasury. No way they would have a robo call if it was legit. they would send certified mail. this is a SCAMMER

same call, scam!!!

called today, left message, said to be from US Treasury.  Saying I owed back taxes. Caller  ID said Clearwater, Fl.  there is no US Treasury dept. branch in Florida.  Also Treasury or IRS does not Robo call.

Just called as well.  Wish there was a button on my end that would disable there equipment permanently!
