Just received a call on my vm. When I called back he answered "US Treasury, may I help you?" I said I think not" and hung up. Very thick eastern accent. India maybe? Crazy world. Be careful out there!
Left voice message stated from Dept of State Treasury and there was a petition related to taxes and needed to call their hot line immediately which I did not do. I did report to the IRS scam site.
just received this recorded msg on my cell... truncated in the beginning of the recording so I have no clue who it was from, only that I need to respond before it is submitted to 'Federal Collections" after which I could risk arrest and jail.
