Yeah, PRA is lame and their business model is so tragically outdated. The zombie debt industry will eventually dry up and die a slow death because...honestly...people are smarter than ever with access to the Internet. They are totally wasting their time by calling numbers over and over. If a person has figured out that it's them...they will not answer. Even if they do answer - and even if the debt is actually tied to the person they reach (rare) then likely it's out of the SOL anyway. Why would anyone with any sense pay these buttclowns when the original creditor left the scene long ago?
Company calls repeatedly even though we have no deliquent accounts. I ask them to only send things in writing, no phone calls but a few nights later they do it. Any hour, any time.
