Just received call from a man named Michael who had an Indian accent. Told me that he was receiving messages from my computer saying there were problems. Told him my computer wasn't turned on and in fact I didn't even own a computer. He also told me that I had paid $300 for computer maintenance to his company. He finally agreed that since I had no computer, that I didn't have a problem. I also asked to be removed from his call list. Now I wish I had asked him for my $300 back that I paid for his service.
These guys say they upgraded my computer a month ago 2/15/2017 they said they were from Apple and I had malware... then put some software on and then it seemed to help however, they forced me to say I would pay them a total of $499 - I paid only $99 and then today they are trying to get another payment. Scumbag Scammers from India or Pakistan pretending to be from Microsoft. Don't believe a word they say. They want to remotely connect to your computer and steal your passwords, bank account information, credit card information, and attach spyware and key loggers on your computer. Microsoft will NEVER call you. These people are low life scammers and pieces of garbage.
