This is not a collection agency. I got several phone calls from this number and they lefted a voice message on my mobile phone. It was a female voice and stated she was Mary Jones with JD Stewart Group and this is an attempt to collect a debt and I should call (770)263-9682.
I used the app Poynt and it said a landline number from Norcross, GA. Then I google the number and guess what, yep this is a scam company.
So I then dailed *67 the there number and a male name Martine answer and gave a different company name. I then asked for Mary Jones and he stated she is in a meeting and asked for my phone number so he can see why she was calling. I then told him to tell Mary Jones and anyone else with his so called company to not ever call my phone again with this scam and he proceeded to hang up the line.
I blocked my phone number again and then called back and this time another gentleman answer the phone and said JD Stewart Group and I asked for Mary Jones and he said hold the line and let him see if he could locate her.
After being place on hold, the same gentleman name Martine answered the call for Mary Jones and proceeded to say he hung up on me because I was rude. I proceeded to say to him "how was I rude when I was simply stating to you, I know you are scammers and know one from your company should ever call my phone again." Guess what...yep you guessed it, he hung up the line again.
To any and everyone, please do your research and homework when dealing with so called debt collectors and unknown numbers.

Google the number and name of the company/group

They say they are collecting a debt for AT&T Advertising, But that comes on my Phone Bill and they do not know my name, My address or my Business name. I would think they would no these things before they call me and threaten to sue. I asked AT&T about them before and they said they did not know them and the my Advertising bill comes on my phone bill.
The first caller was a woman and asked for a Donna Noble. I was in mid sentence telling her that I had had this number for over 6 months and not to call me again and she hung up on me before I was finished. So I called back and a man answered and I no sooner explained who I was then he was very rude and hung up the phone. In looking around on the internet I have seen that this number has also threatened people with imprisonment and lawsuits, cussed people out, and claimed to be any number of other businesses. Report them immediately!
Total scam! They called my place of employment and just leave recordings saying that this is Mary Jones of JD Steward group in reference to a debt collection. The first time I called back a very rude black man answered the phone and refused to tell me the name of the company. He yelled at me and hung up on me. The second time I called back, "Mary Jones" was not available but another woman told me that I had a debt from a hospital from only 2 months ago when my daughter visited. Only my daughter never went to the hospital two months ago (or never as a matter of fact). They became extremely rude over the phone and refused to tell me anything else. After calling the hospital and making sure that they had no record of us being at that hospital, they told us that they had never heard of that company and that they are not one of their debt collectors. How are places like this not getting busted if so many people are complaining about them?
