They also called me today i've already contacted a lawyer in the family about this. Such a shame they try to scare people. A lawsuite needs to be filed against them if they can be found.
Received a call today 11/17/15 stating I have been served I have 7 days to return the call regarding criminal charges brought against me. I too believe it to be a scam
They called my son today and left a similar message. They never identify who they are leaving the message for, its hard to understand, even though he knows he is leaving a message he says you can press 1 to be connected. Voicemail does not constitute legal notification of anything. Definitely a scam.
Just got this call and going to call to see what it is about. Ok Great. Soon as I said I reported them for fraud and if they called back I would file charges for harassment they did a turn around and said the call was for someone else.
I said call my number again and I will be suing you. I do not use checks so this is a scam.
Just received a call from this number. Left a similar message, person on the phone even started the msg with "yo" ... definately not lawyer talk, and the fact that I haven't used checks in over 10 years... it's a scam and has been reported on several phone number monitoring sites. Ignore/block this number people.
I had the same message today, including the deliberately garbled introduction that concealed the caller's identification and the concluding attempt to sound intimidating. Recognizing the obvious scam, I tried calling back to have some fun with them but gave up after being stuck on hold.
