I just received a call from 770-678-4872, it did sound like a scam, they were offering the same "that since we pay our home phone on time that our phone company wants to give us a gift card. Don't give out your personal info these guys are phishing for data! however they did have some personal info. what should I do?
I receive call every day from them, once I answered and they told me (in Spanish) that because I have paid my phone bill on time the telephone company want to send me a gift card for international calls, I knew that was not true because I have my phone with Vonage with a plan that already include international call at not extra charge, so it made not sense. When I asked them how do they get my number, they said they where calling from my phone company but they were unable to provide me the name of the company, so I immediately asked them to remove me from their list, but they still call me at least once a day.
I guess they are trying to get personal info. so be aware and don't even give your first name.
770-678-4872 I have been getting calls from, and if some one decides to answer after I say hello, they start
speaking Spanish. Sometimes they are calling as Non Profit Organization, sometimes as a telemarketer,
but its always in Spanish.
I just got a call from this number. They answer me in Spanish, and ask me if I am the owner of the line. I ask them who they are, and he told me that they were from the telephone company. I ask them from which telephone company, and they said something like "Quartz" (I do not think it exists). I ask him what you want? and he told me he wants to talk with the owner of the line. I told him that I will not provide any data to unidentified people. He ask me why I was mad. And I told him that I was not mad, but I do not provide my data to unknown people, he insulted me and hang up. Never answer calls from this number.
