The Life Giving Moment racket using their latest phony caller ID of "QVD." That fake ID backfired here because I thought it was QVC shopping calling -- which I NEVER watch and have never placed an order. Fed up with this rotten "Life Giving Moments" shill game and the number is now blocked.
This scam artist phoned today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the scammer left no message. According to www.whitepages.com this is a VOIP number based in La Salle, IL. According to several posters, this is a spoofed number for an organization called Life Giving Moments, an apparent scam business purporting to be the QVC Shopping Network. Of course, it's an imposter seeking to perpetrate fraud.
I got a call from 779-201-4191 on December 30, 2014 at 8:36 am. I was not home and the caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on. I don't know anyone from the 779 area code. My caller ID said "QVD" whatever that stands for. I have been on the federal Do Not Call list for ten years.
If you are on the Do not call list & you get a telemarketing call, WHAT does this tell you about who called? (Hint: Criminals) Criminals. Foreign. Domestic. Take your pick. Either do not take the calls. Hang up right away, or consider investing in call blocking. If they cannot talk to you, they cannot scam you.
