Called @ 8:20 this morning and asked for me by name. I replied "how can I help you?" She said her name was Amanda and she was called on behalf of Life Giving Moments. I said "do you realize what time it is?" And, on a Saturday morning, no less! I hung up.
According to caller ID, this number is LifeGivMoments. The asked for us by name and she said had a short survey of 4 questions:
1. Do you think parents should be able to control what their children watch or play on TV, movies or games? They already do.
2. Are TV, movies and games too violent? I don't know since I haven't seen them all.
3. Do you have any children or grandchildren under the age of 15.
I have 2 boys.
3. Do you have any children or grandchildren under the age of 15? Yes.
3. Do you have any children or grandchildren under the age of 15? I have already answered you. Don't call me again!
You people should check this website out. Amanda isn't even a human but a computer voice. YOu got spoofed by a Sarah Palin sounding computer asking you to take a survey. LOL!!!!
See for yourself if you talked to Amanda a life giving moments. The recordings are on the soundcloud linked here.
Her call came in at 8:19 am. Way too early for these types of calls. I picked the phone up on speaker and then sat it down. I heard Amanda ask for my husband, and then when no one said anything, I heard her say, "Okay, I'll continue anyway." And she did. I thought this was so odd, until I came to the post on this site with a link to a website(see below). Amanda is a computer! She sure sounded real. lol What's sad is I believe these calls target the elderly. My parents got these all the time, and my dad would talk to them. He was scammed many times. When he was younger, he would have never fallen for these things. I am not sure what the answer is, but something needs to be done about these parasites.
If for no other reason that to have a good laugh, listen to the video the guy posted on this link. It's hilarious. He really confuses Amanda. I think she ends up asking for about ten different people. The key is to say "hello" that seems to have gotten her to start her dialogue all over again.
