Called @ 8:20 this morning and asked for me by name. I replied "how can I help you?" She said her name was Amanda and she was called on behalf of Life Giving Moments. I said "do you realize what time it is?" And, on a Saturday morning, no less! I hung up.
wow i just called these people and it's thru Ann Church ,, doing a survey of do you think TV has a negative impact on kids now days?..wamm... i asked kindly ot please remove my information off of there calling list and................................................. when i said Ann Church .. her tune changed
I got a call this morning, they asked for me by first name, I picked up the phone and a recording was already asking a question about did I want to have control about what children watch on TV.
I just hung up the phone. Ridiculous people we have in the world.
I'm old & handicap and could NOT see the name so I answered:
Lady: May I speak to the Lady of the House.
Me: Look! This Number is on the "DO NOT CALL" list, besides the D.A. is a personal friend (TRUE) and I'm gonna call them RIGHT NOW. (I did, but they are out for the day :'( )
-- and then I hung up!!
Maybe they got the MESSAGE and won't call back here!!! :/
I picked up and said How can I help you. She was not expecting that. I said Well? She said Hi I am Amanda from Life Giving Moments. Then she asked if she could speak with my mother, the lady of the house. HAHA! That used to happen to my mother when I was a kid and she used to put me on at 6 to take the call. I hung up on her. Some kind of scam about funerals. Should they not call themselves Grief Giving Moments.
