Called @ 8:20 this morning and asked for me by name. I replied "how can I help you?" She said her name was Amanda and she was called on behalf of Life Giving Moments. I said "do you realize what time it is?" And, on a Saturday morning, no less! I hung up.
Got a call from the above number, was not home at the time of the call. Would not have answered it anyway, as I don't answer the phone when I don't know the number calling. Also, my answering machine is turned off so these idiots cannot leave a message. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, but that's a big joke.
They called and woke me up. Caller ID said "GIVELIVMOMENT"?? A lady started talking and asked for my spouse and I told her not interested, go away, and slammed the phone down and went back to sleep with the ring turned off. I though she was selling funeral plots, but then I was only half awake.
Called at 9: 00 am today. I wasn't fully awake so didn't see the caller ID on phone or I would not have answered it. A woman asked for my husband by name but when I asked who was calling she said she could talk to either of us. I was furious when I realized it was a telemarketer of sort. Demanded she put our number on her do not call list and asked why she doesn't honor the national do not call list (which is a joke) and the state of Florida do not call list. She refused to answer but said she would honor my request.
She asked for my boss by his first name, then said she could talk to "either of you." (?) She said she was Amanda from Life Giving Moments and wanted to take a brief survey. I hung up.
Asked me three questions about what parents/grandparents should be able to control on the internet when their kids are watching and then wanted me to press 9 to vote, rather than have to come to my house to get me to sign. I did not press 9. I believe I would have been signed up for something I didn't want if I had.
