Several guys with bad accent called us with "private caller" caller ID basically about the same thing (not to repeat). It apparently did not sound right so I questioned their identities. They said their company is called PC Support based in Florida. They knew my name and took turns to try to persuade me to following their instructions, but I refused. At the end after failing, the last guy finally revealed their true identity - scammer - he ask for ethnic group and made a curse.
Rec'd a call from "Eric" on 12/20/13 at 6:55am and then "Jenny" on12/29/13 at 8:27am. Both were heavily accented, & I was aware of this scam before ever having rec'd any calls. I kept "Eric" on the line for a long time & then told him the call was being traced as my husband was a federal agent..."Eric" hung up quickly...but "Jenny" didn't fall for that. I am so sick & tired of telemarketers and scammers. Surely, if our govt wanted to, they could shut down this operation.
I got a phone call from another phone # than this but when I asked to get their # so I could call them back (I was skeptical) they gave me this #. 786-224-0184. Same descriptions as the others above. Grrrrr!!!! Such creepiness!
