Received a call from Mark Hanson, US Treasury, stating I needed to retain a lawyer and call him back. He threatened to send me to jail. Totally freaked me out.
I just go a message also like what is said in these post and looked it up and it says they're from Miami FL only he used the name William Rogers. With the accent and everything. Hopefully they're caught.

Same call, I was curious as to what they wanted so I called back. They asked if I had a lawyer present, I said no. They then told me I owed money and that I had a warrant for my arrest and that the cops would be at my house in 45 min. When I argued they hung up
Received a call stating his name was William Rogers with the US treasury and I needed to return his call asap with a name of my attorney that a lawsuit as been filed against me. Etc... the caller could barely speak english.
Got a call from this number, and the fellow i was talking to asked me to take down another number, and it was the exact number he was calling me from, I asked him why I need to call back when you are calling me from the number you are asking me to call. He then stated that if I didn't do as he requested that he would file a lawsuit on me, I then asked if he indeed was calling from the IRS Dept of the US Treasury, he said yes, and I said if I had gotten a letter from the IRS I don't think that would've been something I would have overlooked. I then asked when it was sent, he said, it was sent sometime ago, I said how long ago, he then went back to the spill about me needing to call the number he gave me, and if I didn't i would have a lawsuit filed against me. I never did get an answer in regards to the letter, what it was about or even if there was ever a letter. I personally have been contacted by the IRS, it was nothing bad, and the Agent Identified themselves, and gave an ID number, which they asked me to write down for future reference.
Yeah this is a scam......
